The Micro series multi-function scanner. The Micro series will enable entry into a largely untapped small business remote deposit capture market, thanks to aggressive pricing and a unique platform. The newest member of the SmartSource family has everything you need for RDC in a low volume environment, and its simplicity will quickly make it the scanner of choice for those applications.

The Micro series has the smallest footprint available in a check scanning platform today, and provides one pass imaging for a variety of documents inclusing checks, receipts, and cards up to 1.0 mm thick. It is completely USB powered, no external power supply is needed. The Micro series utilizes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to read the MICR code line, boasting a read rate of over 95% (E13B) with the standard equipment. Optional available equipment can be selected to increase that read rate to over 98%.
