Addmaster's IJ2040
prints to a 42 column receipt, and optionally validates either one
line of 75 characters or four lines of 42 characters on various forms
and documents commonly used by bank teller systems, payment processing
systems, retail systems, etc.
With a compact footprint of 52 square inches, the IJ2040 prints at
a quiet 49 decibels using the trouble free Hewlett-Packard ink jet
cartridge. The inkjet cartridge is a non-impact print head without
moving parts. This long lasting cartridge is easy to replace when
ink is expended, eliminating the hassle and mess associated with impact
printers and ribbons.
Print messages may be directed by the host to the journal, the validator,
or both. When printing, the heads print bi-directionally while gliding
quietly across the carriage. When validating, forms are ejected into
a multiple item catch chute for easier handling. Print fields are
user-defined via host software control, and characters can be printed
in four fonts, all of which can be bold, expanded, or expanded bold. |
